Account Manager

OnHand Schools, Inc. (OHS) is a mission-driven, education technology company based in Pittsburgh, PA. OHS delivers transformational solutions that personalize and accelerate student learning. Our products help schools simplify and organize data so educators have a more holistic view of student performance. We’re looking for a driven individual to help share our vision with K-12 schools. This person will work with prospects and customers to understand the educators’ needs, and provide insight into how our tools might help them meet those needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build knowledge of education priorities and properly position OHS products and services as a solution
  • Work collaboratively with the existing business development team to identify sales opportunities and develop outreach strategies
  • Enthusiastically and energetically work to contact incoming leads on a daily basis
  • Place outbound calls to support multiple campaigns and targeted prospecting efforts
  • Provide effective product demonstrations to key decision-makers
  • Provide consistent, high-touch sales support to clients
  • Represent OHS at industry conferences and trade shows
  • Ensure delivery of a consistent value messaging that ensures the client views OHS as a strategic partner
  • Provide market and client feedback to internal team to inform our future product development and enhancements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • A team player who performs well independently
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet various deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Previous experience selling within the education technology space (preferred but not required)
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong prospecting skills
  • Proven relationship management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong public speaking, presentation and webinar skills
  • Possible overnight travel required
